i had a vision once that dean and cas’ first sex scene would be set to radiohead’s all i need, 10.02 sounds like an appropriate time as any for it to become prophetic!!

The first time Castiel calls him “my love”, they’re sitting on the hood of the Impala, taking pulls from sweating bottles of beer as the sun sets on the horizon, and Dean rolls his eyes. Cas says it with a tiny quirk of his lips, in a huff of breath on the edge of a laugh, and although Dean feels a knot of emotion well up in his throat, he can’t help but push it down, brushing off the moment in his head as entirely too “chick flick”.

Later, when he’s in bed and staring at his ceiling, it comes to him why those words cut at such an emotional place. The last time he can honestly remember saying those words to him so sincerely was when he was 4 years old, accompanied by a kiss to the top of his head as his mom said, “Here’s your pie my love.”

The next time the words are said is the morning Dean walks into the bunker kitchen to the view of Cas taking french toast off the griddle and burning some bacon to a crisp. When Cas turns around, with wild bedhead, bright eyes, and an apron around his waist and tells him, “I made you breakfast my love,” Dean glares at his chuckling brother at the kitchen table before he mumbles his quiet thanks and presses a quick kiss to the man’s cheek.

When it happens again, they’re lying in bed, the late night turning into the wee small hours of the morning. Cas presses soft kisses to every inch of skin he can reach; dipping low to skim his lips over Dean’s collarbone, breath flowing hot over a cheek before his lips press down, mouth covering every freckle he finds. Over and over Castiel rains soft affection on Dean, each brush punctuated by a soft, “My love.”

When Dean tries to interrupt, tries to squirm away from the onslaught of focused tenderness, Castiel tightens his arms, draws him gently closer, his kisses lingering longer and the words becoming firmer as they ring in Dean’s ears.

A kiss to the bridge of his nose. “My love.”

Lips dancing across the delicate skin of one eyelid, “My-” and then moving over to the other, “Love.”

A kiss smoothing the furrows between his brows and another soft, “My love.”

When Cas finally brings their mouths together, the dam is cracking, Dean feels his entire body shake with his own stuttered breaths, and that knot of emotion has finally given away to wet eyes. But when Castiel whispers the words into his mouth, Dean smiles against his love’s mouth and repeats them back.

it’s kind of perfect and cas has bionic arms?!?

Dean’s mouth twitches. “You’re thinking of writing sex coding?”

“Orgasm coding,” Castiel corrects. “It hadn’t occurred to me, but now you’ve brought it up, I suppose I’d better.” Since this seems to be something they’ll be doing regularly from now on.

“Well, fuck me sideways,” Dean drawls, in that way that Castiel knows to part his lips and accept the kiss that’s about to follow. “How’s about you stop finding the weirdest ways to turn me on, huh, Cas? Asshat.”

hi there, i loved your latest pillowverse instalment! The deancas scenes were beautiful and potent, especially their kiss, which was perfect on so many levels. the only thing that sort of bothered me is that i think charlie already knows about dragons? i think it was on her ipad in 8.20, but i'm not sure - still, apart from that it was amazing (: i can't wait til the next chapter <3

If it's okay for me to say, I very much adore your chapter in the pillow!verse. For one, Charlie was perfect in it; exactly how I hope she is in S9!! Also, oh my goodness- the DeanCas moments were really, really wonderful. I smiled throughout the whole thing & I almost fell over at the last scene where Dean took initiative & got up in Cas's personal space & everything was described so well as it played out...<3 You did REALLY well writing for Cas too. Bravo on your super lovely writing skills!

unfortunately not really! i checked to see when promo pics were released for season 6, because that was the last completely new photoshoot with the three of them we got, but those seem to have been released some time in the fall of that year?? so when the season had already started. but maybe this year they’ll be released earlier!! we can only hope :’)
