Anonymous asked: What do you think of Carver's decision to introduce a new romantic interest for Sam?

i think it’s premature to say it definitively will be a great thing because we haven’t yet seen the execution of it, but the expressed intention behind it could not be better for Sam’s character tbh. Carver’s talked so much about wanting to give real growth to both of the brothers this season, both as individuals and as siblings, and the only way that’s going to happen is if they form new relationships outside of each other, and for Sam i couldn’t be happier for him that he gets a mature romantic relationship that will hopefully see him grow substantially by the time we meet up with him again. and i just want him to be happy!! he deserves it so much
